    This model provides two pieces of information which are highly important when choosing a decision-making process in a particular situation:

  •  What decision-making processes might be suitable for managing the situation, given the players involved, the nature of the decision and its context. 
  •  How to present and implement the chosen decision-making process to ensure that it is accepted by the stakeholders and that difficulties which emerge in connection with it are anticipated and managed.

For the consultant and the coach, it allows them to suggest suitable decision-making processes for rallying staff, increasing their involvement and helping them embrace a change project. This tool provides a means for those responsible for this change to consolidate their leadership.
